The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather will prevail across the country during Sunday’s daylight hours.
The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, North Upper Egypt, Canal Cities, and Central Sinai.
There is a light rainfall prevailing in Cairo, North Coast, North Lower Egypt, and North Upper Egypt as well as North and Central Sinai.
Meteorologists also predict that the country will continue to experience a temperature rise.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters varying between southwest and northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with southeast surface winds.
Cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 30°C in Cairo, 28°C in Alexandria, 25°C in Marsa Matruh, 31°C in Sohag, 32°C in Qena, and 32°C in Aswan.
