Prominent stars, Steve Martin and Diane Keaton, came back together along with director Nancy Meyers in order to make ‘Father of the Bride,’ the Pandemic and Me.

The cast of ‘Father of the Bride’ reunited for the first time in 25 years and fans went crazy as they were treated on Friday with "Part 3" written and directed by Nancy Meyers.

Introduced by Reese Witherspoon, the “special sequel” saw the Banks Family gathered together for a Zoom call and a wedding-related announcement.

Original cast members Steve Martin, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Diane Keaton, Kieran Culkan, Martin Short, and George Newbern were all a part of the 25-minute performance.

The performance was available on Netflix’s Facebook and YouTube pages.

The reunion was  considered a benefit for a non-profit called World Central Kitchen which, according to Witherspoon, has served over 20 million meals to children, families, seniors and frontline workers during the pandemic.

With Part 3 being set in 2020 amid the pandemic, Martin wore a face mask and encouraged his family to use Clorox wipes, disinfect cardboard packages and remove their shoes off before they enter their homes.
