Fatah Movement: Egypt is the largest Arab country

Dr. Jamal Nazzal, spokesman for the Palestinian Fatah Movement, said that the decisions of the Arab foreign ministers in the last meeting in Cairo regarding supporting the international rights of Palestine and confronting the continued Israeli intransigence are important moves that help keep the Palestinian issue on the agenda.

Nazzal added, during media statements, that the Palestinian National Council has made decisions to move towards a peaceful and negotiated solution with the Israeli occupation army.

He said: Since 1988, Egypt has strongly helped in conveying this Palestinian discourse and program and has put the Egyptian diplomatic apparatus at the service of this goal.

He continued: “Everything Egypt is doing today is an extension of a long history of Egypt’s adoption and support of the Palestinian issue, and this is natural and expected from Egypt because it is the older sister of all Arab countries,” noting that the United Nations has not yet succeeded in finding a solution to this war that the Palestinian people are suffering from.
