Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts finalized receiving the semi-finalist artworks of the fourth edition of the foundation's art awards, the foundation announced on Saturday.
The artworks will be evaluated by the juries, before setting a vote for selecting the finalists.
The participating artworks of the final round will be displayed at a group exhibition at Al Gazira Arts Center.
The exhibition and the Arts Awards ceremony will be held next March, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, at the Al Gazira Art Center in Zamalek.
1056 from all over Egypt with 1850 artworks are set to compete in the various five branches of the awards: painting, sculpture, art critique, architecture, and photography.
The members of the Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts board of trustees wish all participants all success and excellence.
