Legendary artist, and the founder of the prestigious Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts, Farouk Hosny received the CEO and the director of Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF) Thomas Campbell, alongside a senior 25-person delegation at his museum in Zamalek.
During the visit, Campbell and his delegation expressed their admiration for Hosny's artworks. In addition, the guests set several discussions about the artistic and cultural value of the legendary artist's works.
Moreover, their talk handled various topics as the arts scene in Egypt, the activities of Hosny's foundation and its significant role in supporting rising and young talents in the Egyptian scene of arts.
Therefore, Hosny accompanied the guests on a tour at his museum to inspect the valuable collectables and artworks by him and several iconic international and Egyptian artists.
The meeting was attended by the Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina Dr. Mostafa El Feki, Author Mohamed Salmawy, Artist Nazly Madkour, TV Presenter Jasmine Taha, Dr. Aleya Abdel-Hadi, the Director of the Central Administration of Art Centers Ms Dalia Moustafa, the Director of the Center of Arts, Aisha Fahmy Palace, Ehab El Labban, and the Director of Zamalek Art Gallary Mrs. Nahda El Khoury.
Finally, Campbell praised Hosny's artworks, in addition, the guests expressed their sincere happiness with the visit and willingness to set mutual cooperation in the near future.
On his side, Hosny was happy to receive FAMSF CEO, and board of directors members, their appreciation and admiration for his museum's and its exhibits.
