Falcon Group CEO Sherif Khaled on Monday launched a new initiative to support Tahya Misr Fund, informal workers, and health institutions in an attempt to help the Egyptian state in curbing the Coronavirus outbreak.

The initiative came upon a request from the employees of the group as more than 50,000 employees will donate a day's wages from their monthly salaries to Tahya Misr Fund.

Khaled also called upon all the securities firms to take part in the initiative.

He also affirmed that President Abdel Fattah el Sisi showed full support to the Egyptian citizens and all the different institutes in the country during the ongoing crisis.

"Sisi placed the Egyptian state among the developed countries as he regained Egypt's position among these countries," Falcon CEO said.

He also added that the initiative would last for three months as an invitation for all the security companies and all the other firms in Egypt to support their nation in the ongoing crisis.

"Falcon will continue its initiative to support the Egyptian economy after the end of the coronavirus novel," Khaled concluded.
