The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather will prevail in most of the country during Monday's daylight hours.
Hot and humid weather is also expected to hit the North Coast.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, and Central Sinai.
Wind will occur occasionally across the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 2 and 3.5 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height, with southwest surface winds.
There will also be a disruption of maritime navigation in Marsa Matruh, El-Alamein, Alexandria, and Beheira, with wind speed reaching 50 to 70 km/hr and wave height ranging from 2 to 3.5 meters.
Moderately hot weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early hours.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 37°C in Cairo, 31°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 39°C in Sohag, 42°C in Qena, and 42°C in Aswan.
