Tourism expert Randa El-Adawy said on Thursday that Egypt, in a short period, managed to establish mega projects lauded by international actors.
In press statements, Adawy pointed out that the established megaprojects are the strongest promotion campaign for tourism in Egypt, noting what is being built nowadays is the biggest investment in infrastructure and tourism.
"Egypt's external actions are being translated into promotion opportunities for the country's destinations, a matter on which should be focused during local and international tourism events," she noted.
Adawy stated that Egypt's election to chair the 15th session of the United Nations Peacebuilding Commission proves the country's influence in the international community, calling for benefiting from the Egyptian diplomacy's successes.
She underlined that the current stage requires a reformulation of Egyptian tourism and should not be limited to the social media of the promotion campaigns abroad, calling for forming tourist partnerships and alliances to achieve leaps in tourist numbers coming to Egypt.
