How many songs are on it?

The album, produced and distributed by Rotana production company, consists of 17 songs, 11 are in the Egyptian dialect, while the rest are in the Lebanese.

On April 12, Elissa had released her first track, “Hanghani Kaman Wi Kaman” (we will sing more and more) from the forthcoming album.

Hanghani Kaman Wi Kaman is by the lyrics of Shady Nour and composed by Mohamed Yehia.

Elissa recorded Hanghani Kaman Wi Kaman while in self-quarantine due to coronavirus at that time, which was presented in a video conference-style, and featured her in pink PJs.

The music video also featured Lebanese pop star Haifa Wehbe, who is also self-quarantining at home, along with other inpiduals from their respective homes.

The track is a Lebanese dialect song; it is by the lyrics of Seham Shaasha and composed by Mohamad Rahim.

The album also features a French dialect song entitled, “mourir sur scene”, which means “Die On Scene” in English— in the French dialect for her great love for French singer Dalida.

The album will also feature a song about her life, as was the case in her latest album, “Ila Kol Elli Bihebbouni” (To All the Ones Who Love me).

Who are Elissa's collaborators in the new album?

In the new album, Elissa cooperates with a large number of poets and composers including Adel Hakki, Mohamed Rahim, Baha El Din Mohamed, Mohamed Yehia, Amir Teima, Nader Abd Allah, Osama Mostafa, Shady Nour, Ahmed Zaeem, Elhamy Dehema, Walid Said, and Nour.

Album cover art

The Lebanese artist revealed the first official poster of her new album on social media, which is considered to be a portrait of Elissa despite her face, is not depicted.

The art is adapted from the painting of Belgian surrealist René Magritte, “Not to Be Reproduced”. It is currently owned by the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam and commissioned by poet and Magritte patron Edward James, which is considered a portrait of James although James's face is not depicted.

The album is set to be the last in Elissa's career, as the artist announced on August 19, 2019, that she will be quitting the music industry.

“I am preparing this new album with a lot of love and passion. The reason is that it will be the last one in my career. I am announcing this with a heavy heart but with a lot of conviction because I can’t work in a field that is similar to mafias. I can’t be productive anymore,” she tweeted on Twitter.
