Everton delivered an emphatic performance to secure a 3-0 victory over Chelsea at Hill Dickinson Stadium, in a Premier League encounter that significantly reshapes the race for European qualification.

Everton controlled proceedings from the outset, showcasing intensity and clinical finishing.

Striker Beto opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, capitalizing on the hosts’ early dominance.

He doubled the lead in the 62nd minute with a composed finish, underlining his impact as the standout performer of the match.

The home side continued to press forward, and in the 76th minute, Iliman Ndiaye added a third goal to seal a comprehensive victory, capping off a commanding display in front of the home supporters.

Chelsea, still reeling from their recent UEFA Champions League Round of 16 exit against Paris Saint-Germain, struggled to find rhythm and failed to respond to Everton’s attacking threat throughout the match.

Following the result, Chelsea remain in sixth place with 48 points, dealing a blow to their hopes of climbing higher in the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, Everton move up to seventh with 46 points, intensifying the battle for European competition spots in the closing stages of the season.

Chelsea lined up with Robert Sánchez in goal, supported by a defensive line featuring Malo Gusto, Wesley Fofana, Jorrel Hato, and Marc Cucurella.

In midfield, Moisés Caicedo, Roméo Lavia, and Enzo Fernández were deployed, while the attack featured Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto, and João Pedro.

Everton’s convincing win sends a strong message as the Premier League season heads into a critical phase, with European qualification spots still up for grabs.
