Thierry Mariani, a member of the European Parliament's Foreign Relations Committee, said that the delegation discussed many crises with Egyptian parliament deputy speaker MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein who revealed shocking facts.
In an interview with TV anchor Ahmed Moussa, during the "On My Responsibility" program, broadcast on Sada El-Balad satellite channel, Mariani added that MP Abou El-Enein is a veteran man and "revealed to us the state’s development plan and what Egypt was suffering from."
He noted that Abou El-Enein talked about peace, pointing out that the parliament deputy speaker also talked about the Ethiopian dam crisis and its dangers.
He stressed that Ethiopia should not build its future at the expense of the futures of other countries, adding that Ethiopia has the right to development, but balance must be achieved, and the rights of other countries should not be violated.
