European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has handed over 50 vehicles to the Ukrainian police and prosecution authorities as part of the events marking the second anniversary of the war's onset.
The Commission shared a post on X, accompanied by a video of her inspecting the vehicles in Kyiv, stating that these all-terrain white vehicles will aid in "establishing security and stability in the territories liberated by the brave Ukrainian Armed Forces and supporting the population."
In a statement, she added that this delivery came shortly after the EU provided Ukraine with a modern mine-clearing machine. With this equipment, we support Ukraine in making the liberated territories safe again.
