EU Ambassador to Egypt Angelina Eichhorst begins her first official visit to Assiut Governorate today, where she will meet with Major General Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor of Assiut.
As part of her visit, Ambassador Eichhorst will also meet with Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, which is hosting the European Union Simulation Model.
During her visit, the Ambassador will attend the closing session of the simulation model at the university, where she will engage with students and review the key outcomes and discussions presented throughout the program.
The visit underscores the EU’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Egyptian universities, supporting youth engagement, and enhancing understanding of European institutions and decision-making processes among students in Egypt’s various governorates.
