Ethiopian Air Force Commander Major General Yilma Merdassi accused, Friday, Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) of waging battles from places of worship.
The army has information that the TPLF uses places of worship and residents as human shields, according to Merdassi.
He also mentioned that the Air Force sets its targets precisely in order to protect civilians, stressing that the Ethiopian Defense Forces are backed by the Air Force, and heading towards their last goals with high spirits.
The military official’s statements came following Addis Ababa’s announcement that rebels had targeted the Amhara region with missiles.
He confirmed that the "TPLF" missiles that targeted the Amhara region fell in an agricultural area, causing no casualties.
