Chairman of the Egyptian Tourism Authority (ETA) Ahmed Youssef inaugurated on Tuesday the Egyptian pavilion at the 41st IFTM Top Resa 2019 at Porte de Versailles in Paris.

In the presence of Egypt's Ambassador to France Ehab Badawi, Youssef said that the Egyptian pavilion was the latest technological means as large screens are placed at all its sides showing various Egyptian destinations and promoting Egypt's cultural tourism which French tourists have great admiration for.

As many as 11 exhibitors partake in the 101-meter pavilion including tour operators and hotels like Air Masters, Travel Evasion, and Sofitel as well as EgyptAir.

"Partaking in international expos is one of the major tools for marketing and promotion," Youssef noted, adding that the Tourism Ministry pays attention to the quality, not quantity to make its participation more effective.

"During expos, the ministry sheds light on the main pillars of the Egypt-Tourism Reform Program (E-TRP) topped by PeopletoPeople, Branding by Destination, and GEM2020 campaigns," he stated.

ETA chairman is expected to hold a series of meetings with top tour operators in the French market to attract more tourists to Egypt.

IFTM Top Resa, held from October 1 to 4, brings more than 700 exhibitors and 34,000 visitors from all world countries.
