British number two Cameron Norrie missed out on a first ATP trophy after losing the Estoril Open final to Spain's Albert Ramos-Vinolas.
Norrie, competing in his second tour-level final, lost 4-6 6-3 7-6 (7-3) to 33-year-old Ramos-Vinolas.
The 25-year-old had beaten second seed Cristian Garin and former US Open champion Marin Cilic, but clay-court specialist Ramos-Vinolas was too good.
Norrie's run will see him move into the top 20 of the ATP Tour's annual race.
