Es Tunis took the fifth spot at the Fifa Club World Cup after thrashing Qatar's Al Sadd in the fifth-place playoff (6-2) on Tuesday

The Tunisian side started the game so fiercely as early as after only six minutes when Hamdou Elhouni had given them the lead after he toed a right-footed curler that drifted into the far corner.

Anice Badri doubled his side's lead when Elhouni ran on to a wrong pass by Al Sadd's defender Tarek Salman, took the ball away and delivered it to Badri, who planted the ball into the net in the 13th minute.

Badri added the third goal when he converted from a penalty spot in the 23rd minute. The penalty was granted to the Champions League winners via the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

Baghdad Bounedjah revived Qatar's side hope in the game when he converted from a penalty spot in the 31st minute.

Ten minutes later, Elhouni scored his second goal in the game when he curled a right-foot shot from a close range to make the result 4-1.
