Eriksen Confirms Leaving Old Trafford by End of 2024/2025 Season

On Friday, Manchester United and Denmark's international Christian Eriksen confirmed his departure from the Old Trafford by the end of this season.

The 32-year-old player confirmed that he will depart the Reds after spending two seasons with the club as his contract will expire by the end of this season. 

Eriksen made several appearances and was one of the key players for Erik Ten Hag, however, the midfielder said there are no plans to continue.

The Denmark's international told reporters that he said: “No, we are not there at the moment,” when he was discussed to stay at the club.

In the same context, the Red Devils were linked with Atletico Madrid’s Rodrigo De Paul to replace Eriksen.

Eriksen joined Manchester United on a free transfer from Brentford in 2022.

He made 80 appearances in all competitions, scored 6 goals and registered 16 assists.
