Enactus O6U Claims 1st Place in Innovation Sustainability Contest

Enactus 6 October University won the first place globally in Finance in Motion's Innovation Race for Sustainability competition, held in Germany's Frankfurt.

Enactus team, which represented Egypt, gained mastery over teams of four universities from four countries; Germany, Tunisia, Morocco, and Ukraine.

The Egyptian team succeeded in transforming the plant waste of Shubra Beloulah - a village in Menofia governorate famous for cultivating jasmine- to paper could be used in various purposes to maintain balance in nature.

The team’s activities contribute in the fields of scientific research and innovation, community participation and environmental development, empowerment of students and graduates, and the development of human resources.
