Israeli forces killed a child at a military checkpoint, near the entrance to the town of Al-Eizariya, east of Jerusalem.
The occupation forces opened fire on the child, Wadih Shadi Owaisat (14 years old), from the town of Jabal Mukaber in Jerusalem, and left him bleeding, for allegedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.
It was spread on social media, showing that the Israeli forces left the child Owaisat bleeding in the place without providing him treatment until he died.
In another video, a female soldier appeared shooting the child Owaisat from point-blank range, while he was injured and bleeding on the ground.
The West Bank has witnessed a sharp increase in violence since the beginning of the war in Gaza, and an increase in the activities of some settlers aimed at “marginalizing” the Palestinians there, according to the “Peace Now” organization.
About 3 million Palestinians live in the West Bank, which is also inhabited by 490,000 Israelis who live in settlements that Israel recognizes but are illegal according to international law.
