Azerbaijan announced, on Friday, that it had begun evacuating employees from its embassy in Tehran, blaming Iran for an armed attack, during which the embassy's security official was killed and two guards were wounded.
"Iran bears full responsibility for the attack," foreign ministry spokesman Aikhan Hajizadeh told local media.
He noted that the recent anti-Azerbaijani campaign in the Iranian media "encouraged the attack."
