Egyptian midfielder Emam Ashour is set for Danish FC Midtjylland's game against Sporting CP in the second round of their Europa League last-16 tie.
In the away game, Ashour scored his debut goal in his first participation with the Danish team.
His goal was the first in the match and it gave his team the upper hand in the Europa League game against Sporting CP. However, Sporting hit the equalizer goal a few seconds before the end of the match.
The official Twitter account of FC Midtjylland posted a comment about Ashour on his first goal.
Ashour expressed that scoring his first goal in his debuting game is great, and he thanked the club and the fans for their support.
Early this month, the Danish club announced the signing of the Zamalek's star for a reported fee of €2.76 million for three seasons.
The Danish contract made Ashour Zamalek’s third-most expensive sale after Mostafa Mohamed’s and Mahmoud Kharaba.
