EMA: Temperatures Continue to Decline on Thursday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts pleasant weather to prevail in most parts of the country, during daylight hours on Thursday.

Moderate weather is also expected to hit the Red Sea Mountain trail and South Upper Egypt.

EMA added that the decline in temperatures will continue.

The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads.

There are chances of rainfall prevailing in Cairo, North Sinai, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Suez Gulf, and Canal Cities.

Winds will be active in North Upper Egypt, the Red Sea Mountain trail, North Coast, and Sinai.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Meanwhile, moderately cold weather is set to the country, at nighttime, turning to cold toward the end.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 20°C in Cairo, 19°C in Alexandria, 19°C in Marsa Matruh, 21°C in Sohag, 22°C in Qena, and 23°C in Aswan.
