EMA: Egypt to See Medium to Light Rain in Coming Days

Experts of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has unveiled its forecast of more rain spells that is predicted to hit Egypt from Sunday, November 22 to Tuesday, November 24.

  • Sunday

The experts predicted that light to moderate rain at approximately 40% will prevail in some areas of the northern coasts such as Alexandria, Marsa Matruh, El Salloum, Rashid, Baltim, Damietta, Port Said, Al-Arish, and Rafah.

They also expected that Light rain (approximately 30%) will face some areas of Northern Lower Egypt such as Kafr El Sheikh, Beheira, and Dakahlia.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 22C in Cairo, 21C in Alexandria, 25C in Qena, 25C in Luxor, and 26C in Aswan.

The experts predict that pleasant weather will prevail in most parts of South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Monday.

They added that light to moderate rain will in some areas of northern Lower Egypt, such as Kafr El Sheikh, Beheira, and Dakahlia by a chance of 30%.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rain at approximately 30% will hit in some areas of the northern coasts such as Alexandria, Marsa Matrouh, El Salloum, Rashid, Baltim, Damietta, Port Said, Al-Arish, and Rafah.

The mist will impact visibility in the morning in Cairo and Lower Egypt, with moderate winds hitting the Gulf of Suez.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 23C in Cairo, 23C in Lower Egypt, 22C in northwestern coasts, 23C in the northeastern coasts and central Sinai, 27C in the South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges, 24C in northern Upper Egypt, and 27C in southern Upper Egypt.
