EMA: Cairo, Delta Expose to Hot, Humid Weather on Saturday

Experts of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecast hot and umid weather to prevail in Cairo, its surroundings and the Delta of the Nile on Saturday.

Water mist hangs over these areas, especially in the early morning, which leads to poor visibility and makes motorists more cautions on the roads.

The southern part of the Sinai Peninsula exposes to very hot weather but moderate wind blows up there during the coming hours.

Rate of humidity in Cairo, its surroundings and the Delta reaches 87% during the daytime so people feel more heat. Very hot and humid weather also prevail in Middle and Upper Egypt.

There are chances to moderate to thunderous rain to fall in south Sinai and the range of the Red Sea mountains in the east of Egypt.

The northern coasts next to the Mediterranean Sea and the other water bodies connected to it will enjoy nice weather and water mist hangs over there in the morning. Nice weather will prevail across the country at night.

Major temperature degree in Cairo will be 36 Celsius and the minor one will be 24 C.

Autumn comes to Egypt on September 21 every year so night lengthens and temperature degrees slide significantly.
