Billionaire Elon Musk denied the validity of a report that said two companies from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were planning to invest in SpaceX.
Musk said this was "not true" in a response via his Twitter account to a post by TESLARATI, which tracks the billionaire's activities.
On Thursday, a magazine published a report saying that a company belonging to the Saudi sovereign fund and another from the United Arab Emirates are planning to invest in a billion-dollar financing round for "SpaceX".
The magazine quoted representatives of “SpaceX” and “Morgan Stanley”, which organizes the ongoing financing efforts, as saying that both the Water and Electricity Holding Company “BADEEL” of the Saudi Public Investment Fund and the UAE “Alpha Abu Dhabi” intend to participate in the financing.
