Ellie Goulding pregnant with first child

British singer Ellie Goulding and her husband, art dealer Caspar Jopling are expecting their first child.

In her latest interview with Vogue, the singer revealed that fell pregnant while on a trip celebrating their one-year anniversary in Italy last August.

The “Love Me Like You Do” singer shared that she was in the best shape of her life prior to pregnancy, which made her be in denial that her belly would soon be growing. Eventually, her cravings took hold.

“I actually went from being smug about how healthy my salads were and my breakfasts and eating nuts and seeds, and then all I wanted was McDonald's. And I was kind of terrified, I suddenly wanted all of the bad things!" Goulding added.

The singer and her husband have been isolating in England throughout the entire pandemic and described it as isolating.

“Because it wasn’t something I had planned for right now. I knew it was a more solitary journey because of what is going on. I think that made me keep it very secretive and made me very protective over it.” she shared.

The “Love Me Like You Do” singer stated that she knows the baby’s gender but declined to reveal it.

In August 2019, Goulding and Jopling, who is an art dealer, tied the knot in England.
