Lebanese superstar Elissa has shared new details about her highly anticipated 13th album.
The album witnessed several delays in the past period after it was initially set to be released during the New Year's season and the Eid Al-Fitr.
The album is slated to have 12 tracks, but there's no word on an official title or release date yet.
In an interview with "Egyptian Channel 1", Elissa revealed that she will release several singles in the summer before the release of the album in October.
She added the song "Batmayel Aala El Beat" is featured in the album.
The remarks came on the sideline of her performance at the first edition of the New Alamein Festival in North Coast, Egypt.
Elissa has been the highest-selling female Middle Eastern artist since 2005. She sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
In 2005, she became the first Lebanese singer to be awarded the World Music Award for Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist, an award that she earned once again in 2006 and 2010.
The singer is often referred to as “Maliket El Ehsas” (Queen of Emotions) by fans and the media.
Elissa’s artistic journey began in 1992 when she won the silver medal in the Lebanese music competition “Studio El Fan”.
The singer’s debut studio album, “Baddy Doub” (I Want to Melt), was released by EMI Music Arabia in 1999.
