On Saturday, Mostafa Asal and Nour El Sherbiny won the 2025 PSA World Squash Championship, currently being held in Chicago, USA, from May 9 to 18.
Asal won the men's title after defeating World No.2 Ali Farag 3-0.
This is Asal's first time to capture the world title. With this result, Asal can retain the top seed of the PSA men's ranking.
On the other hand, El Sherbiny defeated world's No.3 Hania El Hammamy 3-1.
This is the 8th title of El Sherbiny to equal the record of the retired Nicol David.
