On Tuesday, Egypt's international, and the former Arsenal midfielder Mohamed El Neny
arrived in Abu Dhabi to join Al Jazira, after the end of the 2024 Paris Games.
El Neny was received warmly by the club's fans in the airport, in addition, the player received flowers and cheers when he arrived.

Elneny was released by Arsenal in May after spending more than 8 years with the Gunners.
During his 8-year run with the English Premier League side made a total of 161 appearances.
He posted on X after arriving in Abu Dhabi: “The love, the support and the kindness. I’m really going to miss you so much and you’ll be in my heart forever.”
Elneny becomes the fourth player to join the club this summer, after the signings of Ravil Tagir, Mohamed Atiq, and Vitor Vargas.
Elneny will start his campaign with the UAE's club as they will face Al Bataeh in the ADIB Cup.
