The United Media Services (UMS) company board of directors, headed by Tamer Morsi, decided on Saturday, to broadcast the fifth episode of El-Ekhteyar II (The Choice 2) series without commercial breaks.
Engineer Hossam Saleh, a spokesman for the UMS, stated that the decision was issued to specify Episode 5 as it depicts important events in the history of Egypt.
The series starring, Karim Abdel Aziz, Mohamed Farag, Eyad Nassar, Injy El Mokkaddem, Asma Abulyazeid, Mohammed Alaa, Eslam Gamal, Ahmed Shaker Abdul Latif, Ryad El Khouly, and others.
The production also features late actor, Hady El-Gyar.
It is written by Hany Sarhan, directed by Peter Mimi, and produced by Synergy production company.
The plot centers around the events of 2012 from a new angle as well as highlighting the martyrdom of the Ministry of Interior officers, who sacrificed themselves for the country during the period of 2013-2020.
The series features over 11 guest appearances including, Ahmed Elawady, who starred as terrorist Hisham Ashmawy in season one of the TV series “El Ekhteyar”.
It also features the appearance of Ahmed Fahmi, Mohamed Farag, Karim Fahmy, Hesham Maged, Ahmed Halawa, Ashraf Abdel Baky, Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Mustafa Abu Saree, Sahar El Sayegh, Ali Al Tayeb, Hisham Gamal, Nedal El Shafey, Ahmad Dash, and Abed Anani.
