CAIRO, Nov 11 (SEE)- Egyptian band El-Dor El-Awal will play a concert on November 15 at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, which will feature some of their most-popular songs, including Raqs El-Hawanem, Rehla, and Hawdag.
The band includes popular percussionists Bob and Mizo, tight electric bassist Ahmed Omar, Fady Badr on qanun and keyboards, Mohammad Samy on the violin, Nour Ashour on the mizmar and saxophone and Hisham Issam on oud.
El-Dor El-Awal's first album, Qarar Izala ''Decision to Demolish'' was released in 2006, while their second, Aa'tareeq ''On the Road'' in 2009.
The team are known for their unique sound that combines their musicians' wide background with a traditional oriental melody.
