The operations room of the North Sinai Governorate announced the closure of the El Arish port. This is due to weather conditions and high sea waves caused by strong winds.
The governorate has raised the readiness level in the main and subsidiary operations rooms.
These are in El Arish, Sheikh Zuweid, central Sinai areas, Bir al-Abed, and relevant service directorates to cope with the weather.
El Arish City Council urged residents to be cautious. They should avoid poles, tents, trees, and construction areas for safety.
The Council also requested residents to report any rain-related complaints directly.
