El-Ahly Demolish Aswan 5-1 in Easy One Sided Game

El-Ahly continued their dominant reign in the Egyptian Premier League after demolishing Aswan 5-1 in a once sided easy game for the defending champions. This is the Red Devils' third win in a row in their quest to retain their coveted title.

Junior Ajaye scored El-Ahly's first goal early on in the 7th minute after Magdy Afsha crossed a free kick into the heels of Ahmed Fathi which later found it's way to Ajaye who opened the scoring.

El-Ahly scored the second goal of the match in the 27th minute after Hussein El-Shahat capitalized on a deflected shot from Hamdy Fathy. Fathy was about to score his second of the match in the 45th minute by failed after shooting it to wide from goal.

Fathy then returned in the 59th minute to score the third goal of them after Afsha crossed the ball which found his team mates head who scored.

Afsha scored the fourth goal of the match and his first goal for El-Ahly since joining the team from Pyramids after placing a penalty kick into goal.

Aswan scored their only goal of the match after Ahmed Okry scored. Shortly after El-Ahly came back to score the fifth and final goal of the match up after Ramadan Sobhi brilliantly dribbled past the defense before finishing into goal.

El-Ahly now top the league with 9 points, awaiting arch rivals' Zamalek and Pyramids upcoming match results. Aswan however now place 14th with only a single point.
