Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Niven Gamea arrived in Khartoum on Wednesday, leading a high-level delegation on a visit to Sudan.
Gamea is expected to take part in the Khartoum 38th International Fair, which will be held on January 21-28.
She said that Egypt is keen to increase trade exchange with Sudan, affirming the continuation of talks and consultations with Khartoum in this regard.
Gamea said, during a meeting with Sudanese counterpart Madani Abbas Madani, that the visit is expected to witness the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
The minister said that the Egyptian delegation included a number of Egyptian investors, amid the country's desire to increase trade exchange with neighboring countries, adding that she is expected to head the Egyptian delegation in the Egyptian-Sudanese Business Council.
