Egypt's team won the Arab Basketball Championship for the 13th time in its history.
Egypt's team defeated Libya in the final 87-62 on Wednesday evening.
The tournament was held in Hall 2 of Cairo Stadium from 26 December to 3 January.
Tunisia also won the bronze medal after defeating the UAE, 73-66, in the match that was held on Wednesday evening.
Egypt's team qualified for the final after defeating the UAE team 114/78.
Egypt's team came at the top of its group after achieving the full mark in the matches played, as it won in the first round against the UAE with a score of 94/46, and beat Kuwait in the second round with a score of 92/41, then beat Tunisia 85/63 and Morocco 76/53
