Egypt's sports and youth minister on Friday congratulated Liverpool star Mohamed Salah on winning the Premier League (PL) title with the Reds.
During a phone call, the Egyptian minister expressed his deep pleasure over Mo Salah's achievement.
Sobhi added that Salah is considered as a model for an Egyptian young man who managed to achieve an unprecedented achievement.
"Mohamed Salah is the best ambassador for Egyptian players abroad,” the minister added.
The Reds’ first league title since 1990 was confirmed on Thursday, after Pep Guardiola’s side failed to win at Stamford Bridge.

Then came the ultimate spanner in the works, with the Premier League’s suspension in mid-March due to the coronavirus crisis. Liverpool were 25 points clear at the pause, needing just six more in order to be crowned champions.
With seven games still remaining, it is the earliest any side has ever won the Premier League title in history, with Jurgen Klopp’s men surpassing the achievements of Manchester United in 2000-01 and Manchester City’s ‘centurions’ of 2017-18. Both of those teams clinched the league with five games left.
