Egyptian sovereign bonds rose by up to 1.5 cents to the dollar after the Egyptian prime minister’s successful visit to Riyadh, TradeWeb data showed.
Egyptian government bonds rose either near or above their last-time highs in early 2022 on Tuesday following economic understandings reached by Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
During his visit to the capital Riyadh, Madbouly added that a special unit in the Egyptian Ministry of Investment will work to pay attention to Saudi investments, and that 90 problems were facing Saudi investors in Egypt, the government committed to solving them in non-traditional ways and only 14 obstacles remain.
