Egypt's Sisi Greets Arab, Muslim Leaders on Ramadan

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi telephoned His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to congratulate him on the holy month of Ramadan, wishing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the two friendly peoples all progress and prosperity, according to official Presidential Spokesperson Ambassador Bassam Rady

Rady added that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques exchanged congratulations on this occasion with President Sisi, wishing all goodness and blessings to the two people of Egypt and Saudi Arabia. 

In the same context, the presidential spokesman revealed that the Egyptian president also made phone calls to Jordan’s King Abdallah II bin Hussein, Iraqi President Barham Salih, Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Burhan, the Sudanese politician and Sudanese Army lieutenant general who is currently serving as Chairman of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan, Tunisian President kais Saied, Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Force, and Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. 

Moreover, President Sisi received a phone call from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to greet him on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, expressing his sincere wishes to Egypt for a time of progress and prosperity.

On his part, Sisi expressed his sincere appreciation for the kind congratulations.

Earlier, President sisi greeted Egyptians on the holy months of Ramadan, saying that Ramadan 2020 comes amid unprecedented circumstances.

“The blessed month of Ramadan this year comes amid a unique state of solidarity and cohesion which we all live in. We pray to Allah to preserve our country and its great people and give us the ability to confront dangers and challenges,” Sisi posted on his official Facebook and Twitter accounts late Thursday.

“May Allah protect Egypt, Egyptians and all peoples on earth,” Sisi added.
