The Egyptian Professional Football Club Association will have to postpone the end of the Egyptian Professional League (EPL) 2022/2023 season from June 25 to July 15.
The decision came after the qualification of Al Ahly to the final of the CAF Champions League.
In addition, Al Ahly have 12 postponed games at the EPL encounters and one postponed clash at the Egypt's Cup.
Last week, Al Ahly reached a new milestone after reaching the final of the CAF Champions League for the 16th time in history, and the fourth in a row.
Al Ahly defeated ES Tunis 1-0 in the away game for the CAF Champions League semi-final's second leg. The game was hosted at Cairo International Stadium.
Hussein El Shaht scored the match's only goal, to reach the total score of the two games 4-0 for Al Ahly.
