Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said the government is committed to supporting serious industrial projects, especially in the pharmaceutical sector, as part of efforts to localize drug manufacturing and create more job opportunities.

Madbouli made the remarks during a visit to the factory of Eva Pharma in Giza.

Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said the state is providing incentives and support to pharmaceutical projects to attract investments, transfer modern technologies, meet local market needs, and boost exports.

During the tour, EVA Pharma Managing Director Riad Armanious said the company produces more than one million pharmaceutical products daily across four manufacturing facilities and exports to more than 40 countries.

He added that the company is implementing expansion plans, including new production lines for fast-dissolving medicines with an annual capacity of 100 million units, alongside major warehouse and logistics upgrades.

Madbouli also toured research laboratories, production and packaging lines, and storage facilities at the factory.
