The Egyptian national football team, led by head coach Hossam Hassan, will depart for Spokane, Washington, at 10:00 PM Cairo time (3:00 PM Ohio time) tonight.
The Pharaohs' flight to the American city is scheduled to take approximately five hours. The coaching staff aims to ensure the players get some rest upon arrival before commencing their final training program.
This trip is part of the national team's final and intensive preparations before their highly anticipated and challenging match against Belgium in the first round of the 2026 World Cup group stage.
Coach Hossam Hassan is keen to instill a high level of focus within the camp upon arrival and to acclimatize the players to the atmosphere and stadiums of Spokane, the city that will host Egypt's opening match in the global tournament.
