Egypt's Mostafa Asal, Nouran Gohar Win Britain Open 2024

On Sunday, Egypt's Mostafa Asal, and Nouran Gohar won the British Open title for men's and women's.

Asal captured the title after defeating the world's No.1 Ali Farag 3-2 in the final.

Regarding the women's final, Gohar defeated world's No.1 Nour El Sherbiny in the final 3-2.

On Monday, PSA announced the international ranking for the first week in June 2024.

For men, the ranking included five Egyptian players.

Ali Farag headed the ranking for the 53rd successive week, and the 211th in his history.

Mostafa Asal's position dropped to fourth, and Karim Abdel Gawad lost No. 5 position to Mazen Hesham.

Tarek Mo'men came eighth.

For women's, five Egyptian Squash stars are included in the list.

Nour El Sherbiny headed the international ranking of the first week in June 2024 and for 40 successive weeks, and 250 weeks in her history.

Nouran Gohar captured the second place, and Hania El Hammamy came third.

Nour El Tayeb's position dropped to No. 7, and Rawan Al Arabi improved her position to No. 9.
