Upon the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to intensify efforts to support our Sudanese brothers and deliver humanitarian aid and urgent relief materials, Egyptian military transport ship, Abu Simbel 2, arrived at Sudan's Port Sudan. It is carrying out 200 tons of humanitarian aid.
The ship contained tens of tons of food and medical supplies to the people of Sudan provided by several Egyptian institutions like Red Crescent, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Solidarity, and Egyptian Armed Forces to provide some of the necessary basic needs in light of the humanitarian crisis in the north of the country that suffered from floods.
This comes in conjunction with Egyptian efforts to support brothers in the times of crisis and need.
