Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli received Moroccan Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch at Cairo International Airport at the start of an official visit to launch the first session of the Egyptian-Moroccan Joint Coordination and Follow-up Committee.
An official reception ceremony was held upon arrival, including a guard of honor and the playing of the national anthems of both countries, in the presence of Investment and Foreign Trade Minister Mohamed Farid and Morocco’s ambassador to Cairo.
Talks between the two prime ministers are scheduled to take place at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, followed by an expanded meeting with both delegations within the framework of the joint committee. The visit will also include the signing of several agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.
