Egypt's Hospitals Offer Treatment to Wounded Libyans

Egypt`s hospitals received three wounded Libyan for treatment today.

The wounded Libyans arrived in Cairo airport on Wednesday in order to receive treatment at Egyptian hospitals.

 

Those wounded suffer from broken and amputated limbs as a result of the ongoing instability in Libya.

 

According to sources familiar with the airport, the three Libyans arrived on a private air ambulance coming from Libya.

 

An ambulance team at the airport led by Mahmoud Ghoneim the airport ambulance supervisor completed their arrival procedures at ‘Hall 4” which is allocated for private planes.

 

The quarantine doctors performed medical examinations for the injured under the supervision of Dr. Hazem Hussein، Director of Quarantine at the airport.

 

The wounded were allowed to enter Egypt and exit from the airport in 3 ambulances to start receiving treatment in Cairo.

Three ambulances were allocated to carry the wounded from the airport to the hospitals for treatment.

This came in the framework of Egypt aids for the Libyan people and its keenness for the unity, stability, and security of Libya.

 

It also supports efforts to fight terrorism, extremist groups and militias in order to achieve security and stability for the Libyan citizens. This will lead to the establishment of a stable and sovereign civil state.

 

Egypt always supports Libya's reconstruction and progress advancement in various fields.
