Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration, held an extensive meeting on Sunday with representatives of the Egyptian community in Kuwait during his official visit to the Gulf nation.
The minister praised the Egyptian community in Kuwait for their role in strengthening people-to-people ties between the two countries. He emphasized the priority his ministry places on modernizing and digitizing consular services to streamline procedures, ensuring faster and higher-quality service for citizens abroad.
Dr. Abdelatty also highlighted the vital contributions of Egyptian expatriates to the national economy, urging continued support amidst the current regional challenges.
During the meeting, the minister underscored his commitment to providing exceptional services to all visitors of the Egyptian Embassy and Consulate in Kuwait, including Egyptian nationals and foreign citizens, by offering accessible and efficient processes. He took the opportunity to engage directly with the community, listening to their feedback and suggestions for improving consular services.
Dr. Abdelatty also shared progress on key initiatives to address the community's needs. Among them is the allocation of a plot of land in Kuwait City for the construction of a new consulate building. This state-of-the-art facility aims to enhance the quality of consular services and cater effectively to the growing Egyptian population in Kuwait.
