Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, held discussions with Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, to review the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.
During the talks, Abdelatty informed Kallas about Egypt’s ongoing efforts to uphold the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement.
He emphasized the importance of deploying an international stabilization force in Gaza as part of broader peacekeeping efforts.
The foreign minister reaffirmed Egypt’s strong support for the territorial unity of Palestinian lands, insisting that both the West Bank and Gaza must remain integral parts of a future Palestinian state.
He also reiterated Cairo’s rejection of any actions that could undermine the prospects for a two-state solution or deepen the separation between the West Bank and Gaza.
