The value of Egyptian exports to Italy increased by 24.7% in January 2025, year-on-year reaching $274.2 million, compared to $219.9 million, according to a government report.
According to the report, Egypt exported a variety of goods to Italy during January, noting that the most important of these goods were fuel, mineral oils, and their distillation products, valued at $91 million; fertilizers at $47.7 million; aluminum and its products at $46.9 million; plastics and their products at $17.4 million; and edible vegetables, plants, and tubers at $15.9 million.
The report added that the value of Egyptian imports from Italy declined by 33% during January, compared to the same month in 2024.
Egyptian imports amounted to $309 million in January, while imports reached $461.1 million in the same nonth last year.
