Egypt's basketball team defeated the UAE 94-46 in the the Arab Basketball Championship.
The tournament was held at Cairo Stadium and will continue until January 3.
Egypt in Group B, with: Morocco, UAE, Tunisia, Kuwait.
The list of the Egyptian national team included: Ehab Amin, Amr El-Gendy, Ahmed Adel (Dola), Karim Hatem, Youssef Shehata, Amr Zahran, Ahmed Yasser Rihan, Omar Hisham, Ahmed Yasser (Moody), Anas Osama, Ali Ahmed, Omar Tarek, Khaled Abdel Nasser and Haitham Kamal.
The Egyptian basketball team played two friendly matches against Libya, which ended with Egypt's 89-68 victory, then against the UAE team and won 83-37, in preparation for participating in the Arab Championship, and then the global play-off qualifier for the Paris 2024 Olympics
